Featured Project — 55' Viking Full Garmin Refit

One of our most recent major Garmin builds was a complete electronics refit on a 55' Viking. The project involved a full helm redesign centered around the Garmin GPSMAP series, integrating new chartplotters, Panoptix LiveScope sonar, and a full network build connecting radar, AIS, and autopilot into one clean system. The result was a modern, fully networked Garmin helm on a proven offshore tournament platform.

Why Installation Quality Matters

A Garmin system is only as good as its installation. Poorly run cables, mismatched transducers, or a network that isn't configured correctly will underperform regardless of the hardware. We've seen enough rushed installs to know where the shortcuts show up — and we don't take them.

Every install we complete is sea-trialed before sign-off. We don't hand the boat back until the system is performing correctly on the water — chartplotters talking to radar, sonar reading clean at speed, autopilot holding a heading in open ocean conditions.
